THE long sigh of the Frog
BY
Emily Dickinson

Buy Emily Dickinson's Works

THE long sigh of the Frog
Upon a Summer's day,
Enacts intoxication
Upon the revery.
But his receding swell
Substantiates a peace,
That makes the ear inordinate
For corporal release.
